An Old Fashioned Dessert?

While everyone loves a classic Old Fashioned, a little mix up doesn't hurt. Now I'm not getting all crazy with this recipe, although I love turning classics into my own. But this one takes a a night cap and an after dinner dessert into a combo for everyone to delight in.

Creme Brûlée is one of my very favorite desserts. Custard, caramelized sugar and occasionally a little orange zest on top. Similar to an Old Fashioned, with its simplicity in ingredients but complexity at its technique makes this dessert a perfect blueprint for a cocktail mix up.
